OK, thanks. I will look it up.
Lichess will eventually kill chess.com because it's thousands of times better. Businesses get wiped out all the time.

At chess.com the suckers who waste their money at that disgusting place are higher than people who only use the free stuff.

At lichess everything is free and everyone is equal: en.lichess.org/patron/list

Lichess survives because grateful users help pay for it. Chess.com survives because suckers have to pay for it and because those suckers don't realize they're being cheated.
When is the next Naka-Carlsen match on lichess? The titled tuesdays with GM Hansen commentating? Regular articles from strong GMs? This is stuff you can only find on Chessdotcom
"Regular articles from strong GMs?"

Is this free? I doubt it. I prefer chessbomb which is free and it has free computer analysis during the games, and that computer is stronger than grandmasters. Also they frequently have free commentary from a grandmaster.

Lichess analysis of games, besides being free, are excellent, certainly better than what chess.com makes you pay for.

Every time I convince a chess.com user to try lichess they are very grateful and they never again pay for anything at chess.com. Now I can't do that. Big brother, aka chess.com, is always watching. But there is no censorship at lichess where anyone can advertise chess.com if they don't mind being laughed at.
I have paid memberships at several chess sites because I like specific things they offer (For example I like the video's a lot at ICC, at Chess.com I have played a couple hundred games of correspondence games, at Playchess I like the online premium apps for looking games up quickly and using online versions of my personal databases with Chessbase). Because Chess.com (and the others) charge money, they are able to provide some things that Lichess is not able to. At the same time, if someone is interested in 'just' playing chess, Lichess can't be beat. Others have complained about it, but I like the new tactics trainer (with spaced repetition) here at Lichess enough that once my ChessTempo membership expires I won't be renewing it.
BobC you have an irrational hate against Chess.com and you are also misinformed about what they offer, I'm wondering if you actually know Chess.com that well.
Lichess is not helping Grandmasters and IMs to make a living like Chess.com does, and that is because this website is free. By paying Chess.com you aren't only giving money to a company, you allow hundreds of people to make money thanks to their passion.
You like to give your money away. Fine with me.
This just in - a company tries to make money!

What did they do to you?

And honestly, even for free you get on chess.com a lot of things. And if you go premium you get many, many things that you can't get for free anywhere on the Internet. Why are you so full of hate?
What's wrong with North Korea???? No, just kidding.
At first I 100% agreed with BobC, thank God Lichess doesn't have any ads, but then I realised that it's because of ads that chess.com brings in big name players...
hmmm...
I guess I'm glad chess.com organises matchs like Carlsen vs Naka, but at the same time I'd never play there.
