Why do we live when we all are going to die

There was a man that was sentenced to an eternity of speed-chess in Hell— but every time he found the winning move, the board would reset all over again. It's utterly absurd, of course. What can he do? What point is there? But the struggle itself towards the winning endgame is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine him happy.
This is why topics shouldn't stop updating after 50 replies, it makes it so we get the same threads over and over rather than getting to discuss in depth

I believe from now if this question is asked again in the forums, it's just to waste people's time.
Come on, this question has an obvious answer: You live as a test.

The reason why we live to die, is because this life is a test. It kinda is determining where you'll end up in the other world. Or heaven. Or whatever you want to call it. This place determines your ranking and which seat you hold in the other life.
