Ju Wenjun is Womens World Champion

<Comment deleted by user>
That was an interesting series of games. Loved it. And congrats to Ju Wenjun.
First time, a country is defending champion in both World Chess Championship (Men and Women).
(Note that USSR was not a country)
That was a terrific blog report by Lichess. I think it captured the essence of the match and the players, GM's I had not even heard of before.

This will enhance the popularity of chess in China, just as Fisher's win did in the U.S. and with 1.4 billion people China will be a major power in chess from now on.

Just letting you know it’s Fischer not Fisher.
Maybe you need autocorrect.
Gran victoria, e5 de GM Lei fue un error de cálculo, pero sin errores el Ajedrez no existiría. Gran juego, excelente match de ambas. Felicitaciones Ju.
Nice positional play by both players, congratulations to Wenjun
(and to Liren too)!
Well, this is The Rise of Chinese citizens in chess because of the:

1. NEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHESS CHAMPION 2023: JU WENJUN

2. NEW WORLD CHESS CHAMPION 2023: DING LIREN

Anyways... Good game and congrats to Ju Wenjun for winning and getting the TITLE OF Women's World Chess Champion 2023
