Benko vs Fischer
A boring queenless middlegame (or maybe not?)A slugfest where two greats duked it out. Somehow the tense position fizzled out into a draw. Fischer had the edge for the first half of the game, only to blunder it away. Fischer had a completely losing position. But what did he do? He patiently waited for Benko to lose patience. Sometimes when you have a positional stranglehold, it is best to take your time. After all, defending a lost position is psychologically demanding.
Hope you enjoy.
