Did not receive the points

Hi, i dont know if its the right place to ask for help, but i dont know where to look anymore. Here's what happened: i played a ranked correspondence game and when my opponent resigned i didn't receive the points of the game. First i thought it was because i was playing other correspondence games simultaneously, but then i finished the other games and i did receive its points. Your opponent's account was closed so there is no rating that exists to gain rating from. A logical theory is that your opponent was marked as a cheater in another time control and got a cheater mark. If a player is marked as a cheater, none of their games are rated at all and that would explain why you didn't get points. It would also explain why the account was closed since having that mark can be embarrassing.
