Take backs

A lot of players ask for take backs in rated games. To me is doesn't make sense. What's your opinion?
Just take it back if u want and if I don't want then don't take it back u can disable takeback options too but for me I always wish everyone accept my takeback but must be careful I won't accept urs 😂😂😂(I know very bad sports man spirit)
They either do it because it's a finger-slip or mouseslip, or because they are greedy.
If you feel it's a 'legitimate' slip, you can give the take back, esp. if the player prompts almost immediately as they make the move.
This is like the #1000 thread about take-backs, yet I still have the feeling that there is a lot more to add to the discussion,
not sure if that suggests that there is a lot to the "Take-back" discussion, or if it says something about the quality of the "Take-back" questions/answers.

Just some thoughts.
I recently accepted a takeback in a hyperbullet game.

I regret it, will not be accepting takebacks UNLESS it is a clear and obvious mouse slip.
I never accept takebacks anymore. If I make a miss click and it’s going to cost me the game I will resign no matter what the position is.
I rarely give them and never ask for them. In the case of an OBVIOUS misclick I will sometimes make an exception. I feel like if a move is re-done it is then a completely different game and therefore pointless to continue . A player has to live with their mistakes.

However......... I do think it is a nice feature that separates Lichess from some other chess websites. (That and the ability to add time to your opponents clock) It helps keep the overall feeling of the site less toxic and competitive.
If it's an obvious misclick and they ask for a TB immediately I'll give it. usually not otherwise
