You can now download every game played on lichess.org

The entire lichess game database is now available for everyone. There are 179513630 games. You can find them here: database.lichess.org.

Thought it is only rated games

For now it is only rated standard chess games. Hopefully other variants will be included in the future :)

This is really cool!
It would be better if we could download games played by players above x Rating.
How would we reach this page from lichess.org other than just typing in the URL?

Impressive. Look at the progress of "played games" over the months. MongoDB really is powerful

lichess is really great and improving every day...

I wonder how long it would take to download EVERY game available,.If anyone knows, let us know.
