no offense, but chess.com is a joke compared to lichess, in many ways

I played at chess.com and a few others and this is the best free site. Can always get a game at the time control I like and the players are seemingly much more friendly. The amount of times you get angry comments or someone posting insults on your profile at chess.com was laughable. Don't get me wrong, I am not the sensitive type who can't take it but if given the choice, its nice to not need to deal with keyboard warriors insulting because the game did not go how they wanted.

As i see that this topic is of a wide interest; there is a very good novel in which "Blind Chess" has a central role: "Schachnovelle" by Austrian author of worls rekonwn Stefan Zweig. Published 1942. Aka "The Royal Game" or "Chess Story". Maybe some of you have not yet heard about it - it's first class reading.

Lichess is free.if you have first rating on lichess dont pay you money or reward .why some one cheat on rating game.why casual?the extra thing will add more user.user of lichess comment please

new77, people cheat at free chess for one reason: they like attention. They want to feel like a good player.

Congratulations, it's a wonderful idea. The more characteristics the better: Even if both casual and rated are available, I don't think it's a trouble if your opponent cheats: Bad and pity for him\her. In fact it would be nice even if you could just play via keyboard the ordinary chess and generally have stuff to help you improve your mental chess as fast as possible like for instance to be able to choose the same color for both sides and each piece separately... ;)

P.S.1 for cheating: I think that basically low players would cheat and if you are able to play mental chess you are probably a good player in ordinary chess, so probably you could find out some cheaters by comparing the rankings in ordinary and mental chess

play with stokfish is not bad if thiabult dont want add multiplayer blind chess
