Bad puzzles

http://en.lichess.org/training/13110
Obvious mate in 2....but computer shows mate in 2 as wrong and a mate in three as correct. What. The. F***.
This is becoming more and more obvious in the puzzles as I go through them. Is this a glitch or error in the puzzle making system or something? Either way, please fix.
yes, any novice would see that Kf7 mates next move - they should run their puzzles thru a matechecker or an engine to see if they haven't missed alternative at least as short solutions...

#1 Thanks for submitting this. I'll use this to test & fix the puzzle generator.
#1 Well, at least now I see the reason... 72. Kf7 would be threefold repetition, but no reasonable puzzle-solver would assume that.
No, I disagree, it is not a bug. Puzzle-solver could use his telepathy skills to solve it correct.
So, BCJ, no reason to complain, just train your brain harder, to extend your mind.
#6 If you have constructive criticism about how the puzzle generator ought to construct puzzles, I'm glad to hear it! It's one thing to identify the problem, but solving the problem is another matter...

I'll even give you a hint! Here's where the puzzle generator code is reposited:

Of course, I'd like to help, only if I can.
I wish puzzle creation was performed mostly by humans, not a program.
What if we had a button - "Submit this position for training", so players themselves will bring a lot of puzzles for lichess.
And every user will have a puzzle-creator rating, based on the puzzle votes. So, after some time, you will have an elite group of puzzle-creators, that can fulfill training with enough number of puzzles.
I myself could create 5-10 a day from my games.
This approach will also make possible chess variants puzzles.
"Chest" is an open source program that can exhaustively look for checkmates up to a specified depth. It is fast: execution time is less than 1 second for mates in 5-6. It could be used as a double check on any problem reported as "mate in x" by the problem-generating algorithm to make sure the solution is really the fastest mate. check it out : chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/Chest
